Individual Therapy

NEW First Time Clients

Your first session is 1.5 hours (90 minutes) long.
During this introductory session, we meet and greet online, explore the presenting issue, and perhaps do a genogram, a timeline and family history to locate the roots of the presenting issues(s). Still unsure? Why not try our free 15 minute discovery call - talk to me about what is showing up for you, and together we can figure out next steps.

If you do booking, please also download and complete the confidentiality form and bring it to your first session.

CONTINUING Clients

Once your first session has been completed, and our initial assessments done, we then move into a regular pattern of sessions determined by your budget and schedule.  You get to determine what works best for you, however, it is strongly recommended that a weekly consult is going to yield best results for your money spent.

Couples Therapy

NEW First Time Clients

Your first couples online session is 1.5 hours (90 Minutes) long.
During this introductory session, we meet and greet, explore the presenting issue(s). I use a combination of two methods - Gottman and PACT.

Depending on what presents in the first session, we may elect to  conduct the Gottman Assessment through an interview process that surfaces all the information required. I will discuss the approach with you, and explain how it all works.

Additionally, you may be issued with access to an online questionnaire for both of you to complete as part of the assessment phase of your couples counselling. It is at the therapist’s discretion whether this is required or not.

Please also download and complete the confidentiality form and bring it to your first session.

CONTINUING Clients

As described in the section NEW First Time Clients - the next stage in the Gottman Method is to book an individual session, for each partner, after completion of the questionnaire. In the individual sessions, you get to talk without the distraction of  your partner present. Keep in mind, that any information shared will be visible and transparent to your partner in future sessions. This is followed up with a feedback session where we prioritise your treatment plan together and work out next steps together.
Then the real work can begin.
